hike day 7: cheesy kingdom

just before hitting figeac, i turned a km off the beaten track upon spying a sign for a cheese farm. the maitre fromagier (read "the big cheese"!) led me through a taste tour of her dozen cheeses, each with its own distict flavour and texture.

while i presented a polite, inquisitive and attentive front, somewhere in the deepest recesses of my lizard brain screamed "gimme Gimme GIMME NOW!!!" honestly, can you think of a better way to kick-start a monday morning?

Hey! my comment didn't go this morning: I was still dreaming! you did so well this last week, I can't believe you are already there; so you are enjoying French food, french paths and your cousins!
We had the same kind of weather on the Stevenson way and the last 5 days were a wonderful experience: flowers, green landscape, peaceful cows and very cooperative donkeys carrying their "people's" luggage; needless to say that we are stubborn enough to be on our own!Now we are having a rest and looking forward to hearing about your next adventures; have lots of fun and meet a lot mpore nice people.
Was soooooooo nice to see you. MCL
